2025 All-women’s philanthropic climbs
I’m passionate about encouraging and supporting women to explore and gain confidence in the mountains, while giving back to the mountain communities that I love so much. In 2024, I’m organizing along with exceptional guide companies and friends, the following climbs. I look forward to climbing with you!
June 6 – 8, 2025 | June 20 – 22, 2025
Mt. Adams
Mount Adams, Washington’s second-highest peak, rises nearly 10,000 feet with stunning views of the Columbia River Gorge. This all-women’s climb offers a supportive environment for hikers stepping into mountaineering.
The south side route avoids glaciers, making it beginner-friendly yet challenging. Climbers use helmets, crampons, and ice axes to navigate steep, icy slopes, learning snow climbing techniques without rope travel.
Perfect as a first mountaineering experience, Mount Adams also prepares climbers for bigger goals, like Mount Rainier.
July 15-17, 2025 | August 1-4, 2025
Mt. Baker
Mt. Baker via the Easton glacier is a classic Cascades climb. 10,781 foot Mt. Baker is a great beginner climb for women interested in mountaineering. This climb includes customized training from Alpine Athletics, and will support a local women’s charity. This climb will be organized with Mountain Madness.

Mexico Volcanoes
This expedition includes ascents of Pico de Orizaba (18,491 ft), the highest volcano in North America, and Iztaccihuatl (17,160 ft), the “sleeping lady.” These peaks offer an ideal introduction to high-altitude glacier climbing, perfect for those preparing for more demanding climbs such as Aconcagua or Denali.
This expedition is exclusively for women, led by a skilled all-female guide team! This empowering experience provides a supportive environment where women climbers can grow, inspire each other, and achieve remarkable goals together.

Makalu-Nepal
Makalu is situated in the Barun Valley, which is a remote and relatively untouched region in the eastern part of Nepal. The Barun Valley is southeast of Everest and is known for its pristine wilderness, rich biodiversity, and stunning landscapes.
This beautiful peak stands at an elevation of 8,485 meters (27,838 feet) above sea level, making it the fifth-highest mountain in the world. Makalu is known for its technical difficulty, with steep slopes, knife-edge ridges, and challenging rock and ice sections.
This year, I'm organizing a group of all-women hikers and trekkers, led by the amazing Pasang Lhamu Sherpa Akita, if you are interested in applying or learning more, let's talk!
